Services we provide
Home and Clinic Consultations:
We offer private, one-to-one consultations in the comfort of your home or at one of our clinics.
Our aim is to give you the time and opportunity to explore what’s been happening for you and your baby. We can then work together to address any problems and help you set realistic expectations of your baby and yourself.
Consultations
Consultations usually last up to 90 minutes. This allows time to understand what’s been happening, discuss what you’d like to achieve and work on these areas together. At the end of the appointment we will agree on clear steps for moving forward.
Follow-up Consultations
Follow-up consultations, if required, offer an opportunity to review how the feeding plan has been working, discuss any further options that you would like to explore and answer further questions.
I was really struggling with breastfeeding and just about ready to give up altogether not to mention, unknowingly, on the brink of full blown mastitis. immediately turned things around for us and gave us new methods and positions that meant no more excruciating pain and also saved me from mastitis by showing me effective massage techniques. She was absolutely amazing and so supportive, knowledgeable and informative. I know and understand so much more having had just a couple of sessions and having her help me make a plan has allowed me and my son to be able to continue on our breastfeeding journey. If you are struggling, I would absolutely recommend seeking help sooner rather than later and my consultant was amazing!

Telephone and videocall consultations
Our long experience of supporting families remotely became particularly valuable during the Covid pandemic, enabling us to provide much needed and valued feeding support, both locally and abroad.
We offer 30-minute consultations at £60 payable in advance. Each further 15 minutes is charged at £30 payable after the call.
Often 30 minutes is enough. For more complex situations – particularly where we need to see your baby feeding – more time may be needed. We check at c25 minutes if you wish to continue and can then summarise or agree more time.
So glad I did these videocall sessions- turns out support is still available even in lockdown. Feeding my 10 week old daughter had become extremely painful. guided us through positioning and latch and straight away things started to feel better – I’m now breastfeeding comfortably. Having the chance to work on this with someone so knowledgeable and supportive was wonderful at a time when we are all so much more isolated than usual.

Antenatal breastfeeding information
We also offer private breastfeeding information sessions, prior to your baby’s birth, at home or virtually.
The information is completely tailored to your specific concerns. Whether you’re a first-time mother, expecting twins, or have older children and need an opportunity to work through a previous experience, an antenatal session can be really helpful.
It also means that we get to know each other and you can feel confident about ongoing support after your baby arrives.
We are getting on so much better now with breastfeeding and I no longer have any discomfort… In fact, I am really enjoying the ease and flexibility of it! I’m so grateful for all your help and advice – it was much harder than I had imagined getting started and I think I needed the encouragement to keep going, so thank you.

Tongue Tie information:
Our IBCLCs support families who suspect their baby is tongue-tied by performing oral assessment and referring to tongue tie treatment pathways. We do not offer the tongue tie division procedure.
In most cases, our team helps with strategies to improve feeding effectiveness, comfort and supporting milk supply. These are important alongside any treatment for tongue-tie.
NICE Guidance states that skilled breastfeeding support is a crucial part of any treatment for tongue-tie. Read more
LLC were recommended by a friend who was very impressed with them. So were we. was very prompt in contacting me (on a Sunday). We needed advice on tongue tie and our baby vomiting significant amounts. She assessed a very fast flow (coupled with tongue tie) and gave strategies to reduce the flow which solved the problem. She was excellent, gentle, straightforward and clever- we’re so happy we called!
