We saw you on a video call during lockdown about our little boy who had his tongue tie released but was cross about having to work for milk from the breast and was super distracted (and still is!) I was in a bit of a state, with midwives beating the door down every other day to weigh our baby not really helping! I just so desperately wanted to be able to feed my boy. I don’t know how you did it but you sorted us out completely in that one video call. I felt so much warmth and support from you even through the phone, and you gave us such good practical advice and a direction to start working in when I had previously felt so lost. We were completely off bottles within a few weeks! There have been many many times when I’ve been breastfeeding in the night and I’ve whispered a silent ‘thank you’ to you for being able to have this precious experience of feeding my boy, it means so much to me. So, thank you so much for being there for us in those dark, confusing, lockdown days. has just had his birthday and is a super happy, determined and funny little boy… and is still going strong on the boob!
