We saw after needing to give our three day old baby formula due to weight loss of 12%. After receiving the formula he started to completely refuse the breast and we were desperate to get back to breast feeding. initially offered a 90 minute home visit. We found her to be very knowledgable, kind and calm. We have been completely astounded by the outcome of the session (and the two follow up sessions). By the end of first visit, our baby was breastfeeding again (there were tears of joy). Since then we have gone from strength to strength with the feeding and were able to get back to exclusive breastfeeding within one week. This outcome wildly surpassed our expectations and we are so grateful to have been given the chance to keep breastfeeding due to support and expertise. Without it I think we would have needed to stay with formula feeding which was not our first choice.
